Sister Ramatu Imoru Seidu Celebrated for Her Compassion and Support for Bahass Mental and Rehabilitation Centre
Today, we celebrate and appreciate our dear sister, Ramatu Imoru Seidu, whose love, compassion, and generosity continue to touch the lives of many at the Bahass Mental and Rehabilitation Centre.
Sister Ramatu has adopted two residents of the Centre, Ali Labaran and Eric Asare, and taken full responsibility for their monthly upkeep. Every month, she provides for their feeding, toiletries, electricity bills, clothing, and other essential needs.
Her kindness, however, extends beyond the two residents. She has also supported the Home with food, clothing, medication, books, fish oil, gari, and other essential items. Her generosity has brought comfort, dignity, and hope to people who are often forgotten by society.
Sister Ramatu comes from a respected royal family. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Imoru Seidu, a former Under-Secretary, and the granddaughter of the late Wa Naa Seidu. Her recent donations were made in honour and memory of her beloved father and grandfather, continuing the legacy of compassion and service they left behind.
Based in the United Kingdom with her family, Sister Ramatu has demonstrated that distance is no barrier to caring for vulnerable people and those in need.
Her support is more than a donation; it is a powerful reminder that compassion, dignity, and humanity must remain at the heart of society. By extending a helping hand to residents of Bahass, she is helping to ensure that people living with mental health challenges and those undergoing rehabilitation are not left behind.
Sister Ramatu, you have truly stepped into the shoes of your forefathers by carrying forward their legacy of kindness, generosity, and service to humanity. You are not only a sister to us—you have become a mother to all of us at Bahass.
May Allah richly bless you, your husband, your children, and the entire Imoru Seidu family. May He reward every sacrifice you make, protect your family, grant you good health and long life, and make your generosity a source of endless blessings in this world and the Hereafter.
