The Minister of State in charge of Special Initiatives, Hon. Dr. Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, has held his maiden engagement with staff and the technical team of the Office, setting the tone for the effective delivery of Government’s priority initiatives.
At the meeting, Dr. Pelpuo called for teamwork, commitment and a strong focus on results, stressing the need to accelerate ongoing projects and translate Government’s interventions into tangible benefits for Ghanaians.
The Minister was also briefed on key initiatives currently being implemented, including the Akoko Nketenkiti Project and the broader Broiler Project, which is targeting a production capacity of 200,000 birds per week. The team also showcased some products emerging from the initiative.
Dr. Pelpuo expressed his readiness to work closely with the technical and administrative teams to build on progress already made, strengthen implementation and ensure that Special Initiatives delivers measurable impact.
The maiden engagement marks the beginning of a new phase of focused action under the Minister’s leadership, with a clear emphasis on delivery, accountability and results.
