DECLARATION OF INTENT TO CONTEST THE POSITION OF CONSTITUENCY COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER—NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS – BOLE-BAMBOI

I, TAHIRU IDDISAH OMEGA, by this statement, humbly declare my intention to contest for the position of COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER for the National Democratic Congress in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.

This decision is born out of my unwavering commitment to the ideals of our great party, my proven record of service, and my deep conviction that effective communication is the bedrock of political organization, mobilization, and electoral victory.

MY EXPERIENCE IN SERVICE TO THE PARTY:

Over the past decade, I have served the NDC diligently at various levels, building the competence, networks, and loyalty required for this critical role:

1. SPOKESPERSON TO THE MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR BOLE-BAMBOI CONSTITUENCY (2022 to date)

 Coordinating media engagements, articulating the MP’s development agenda, and defending the party’s position on local and national issues.

2. DEPUTY CONSTITUENCY COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, BOLE-BAMBOI (2019 to date)

 Supporting the Communications officer and Bureau in messaging, media outreach, social media management, and rapid response to opposition propaganda.

3. BRANCH COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, Pentecost Branch

 Strengthening grassroots communication, voter education, and information flow between the branch and constituency executives.

4. TEIN PRESIDENT, Bimbilla College of Education (2014 to 2015)

 Leading student mobilization, political activism, and youth engagement for the NDC on campus.

5. PARTY COMMUNICATOR– 2014 to date

 Representing the party on radio and social media platforms, consistently projecting the values and policies of the NDC.

MY VISION FOR THE COMMUNICATIONS BUREAU:

If given the mandate by delegates, I will lead a proactive, disciplined, and united Communications Bureau focused on:

AGENDA SETTING: Driving the NDC’s narrative in Bole-Bamboi through timely press releases, community engagements, and digital(social) media.

CAPACITY BUILDING: Training branch communicators and serial callers to effectively articulate party policies and counter misinformation.

GRASSROOTS COMMUNICATIONS: Ensuring every branch has a clear communication structure that feeds into the constituency and national agenda.

RESEARCH & RAPID RESPONSE: Establishing a team to monitor, analyze, and respond to political developments within 24 hours.

UNITY & DISCIPLINE: Promoting one voice, one message, and loyalty to the party and its leadership.

I believe that with my experience, energy, and passion, I am well positioned to strengthen the NDC’s communication architecture in Bole-Bamboi and contribute significantly to our 2028 victory and beyond.

I respectfully therefore seek the support, prayers, and mandate of you all— delegates (branch executives), and comrades to serve you as the next COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER FOR BOLE-BAMBOI CONSTITUENCY.
