The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa has donated a total of 600 pieces of mathematical sets to final year students in all Junior High Schools in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa district.
He handed over these mathematical sets to the District Education Directorate on Wednesday, 15th July 2020 as part of his annual ritual of supporting candidates to write their final examination.
Handing over these equipments, the lawmaker reiterated his commitment to improving standards of education in the district. He said he would continue to support students of all levels because they are the future of the district.
He wished all candidates preparing to write this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination the best of luck.
The directorate thanked the Member of Parliament for his continues support to the Ghana Education Office in the district and added that the mathematical sets will help students sit in for the impending examination with ease.
A total of 529 candidates are going to write the Basic Education Certificate Examination in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa.
