When we see wrong as right just because we have to support a particular group of people, then we have lost it. Why can’t wrong just be what it is anymore?

When will we realise that so much is crumbling around us? Our country still does not have a clear plan to wean us off external donor dependence and yet we keep depleting the little we resources we are able to harness.

So many people die needless deaths every other day because we just do not value life enough to improve upon healthcare delivery. Why don’t our leaders do their medical check-ups in their own country? If they know how bad the health system is, then, why not fix it?

When will we realise that the best way to go is to build more robust systems that will not be otherwise manipulated by political selfish interests?

Will we ever really get to the point where we can agree that we all have caused too much damage to our own nation and its asserts and begin to build it, forsaking personal interests?

When children are being abused needlessly, the physically challenged are completely cut off from access to normal life and pregnant women die during the process of bringing life to the world, we are arguing about which political regime committed the worst atrocities?

We can pray all we want for our dear nation but if love for humanity and INTEGRITY are missing in the big picture, then we will be running backwards.

Signed.
A worried Ghanaian.
