“Why not Ghana beyond corruption,” the Netherlands’ Ambassador to Ghana has suggested with the Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) on the organizations 20th Anniversary at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.

But, this comes at a time the government has officially launched its ‘Ghana beyond aid’ mantra.
Mr. Ron Strikker, suggested that the country deals with corruption to manage its aid, loans, and grants.

The NPP government coined the mantra to gear the country towards self-reliance.

Many in the country, however, saying the policy was not clear as a document on the policy was afterward launched on May Day 2019.

Giving his thoughts on the policy, Mr. Strikker said it urged the government to deal with corruption
He said, “you need a good business eco-system to draw foreign investment.”
