GEC Media Group is seeing playing golf beyond fun to growing more successful entrepreneurs.
For this reason, the GEC Group held a summit in Accra yesterday.
The program brought together potential entrepreneurs and some chief executives officers on business idea-sharing while growing golf in the country.
In an interview with the head operations of GEC Media Group, the organizer of the summit, Kwaku A. Ofosuhene, said as an entrepreneur, he was a living testimony of the impact of golf.
He said he wished to encourage more youth to join the game and to experience the opportunities therein.
He said playing golf could network mentors for life-problems, business coaches, and enhance employment opportunities.
Joining the game for twelve years today, the captain said he had seen remarkable enthusiasm among the youth for the sport.
He said there were “good-talents in the country, and if managed effectively some of those could compete in the international level.”
Concerning yesterday’s program, he said the feedback was great.
Also, he admonished more entrepreneurs to partners with GEC Media to grow the sport in the country.
