Consistency and experience; incase both of them are anything valuable part of effective leadership capabilities; then Mr. Badita Isaac should be the right choice for Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency Secretary come this constituency executive elections of the National Democratic Congress. (NDC)
The Aspirant was caught up on telephone conversation by this platform, and he left no stone unturned seeking the mandate of the people to become the scribe for the NDC party in the Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency of the Upper West Region.
He said he had accumulated enough experience through leadership offices he had occupied for barely a decade now.
The current Deputy Secretary of the Upper West Regional NDC Communication team said was part of 2012 “Stand for Bagbin,” a campaign team which canvassed for first time voters among senior high students and eventually led to big victory for the NDC party in the Constituency; both in parliamentary and presidential.
“I am a loyal and committed member of the party in good standing,” he stated, and went on downing current holder of the office in contention, chiding “a constituency secretary who campaigned skirt and blouse is not qualified to still be in the post on moral grounds in any serious political party,” again he furthered “a person who is not trustworthy but always speaking at both sides of his tongue is not needed in 2020 election campaign for our great party.”
He likened his contending opponent to former Ugandan president, Gen. Iddi Amin who in his days had welded almost all critical administrative powers of the country to himself alone yet in the midst of leaps and bounds of safer pair hands.
“One person cannot carry all the load of the constituency in the midst of uncountable competent hands,” he stressed, and jostled: “In-the-abundance-of-water-the-fool-is-thirsty-mediocre can’t take place in our society. He alone is the Constituency Secretary, an Assembly Man, a Presiding Member and still eyeing the MP seat, why?”
Mr. Isaac taught that it was crucial to allow separation of powers as a crucial part of democratic leadership, otherwise, the situation would create room for conflict of interest which would not auger well for the preserved consistent democratic process in the constituency.
The Aspirant who is bearing a campaign motto: “change for social justice with probity and accountability,” said “I mobilized my ward executives and vigorously campaign with town hall meetings and organized ‘pito’ for each branch from my own resources which is a novelty in our local politics in the constituency. So it gave the MP for the constituency, Rt. Hon Alban Bagbin the opportunity to do door to door meeting with the people in his campaign 2016 which he himself admitted that it was due to my effort his door to door in Nadowli Township was possible.”
