Prince Katori

At Zanko, children can barely get access to education due to inadequate infrastructure.

They have being denied school feeding programme as well.

It clearly too late that this year, current class 4 pupils will either walk through a valley to Guo or terminate their education.

Zanko is a community in Wa-West district of the Upper West region of Ghana.

Like in some other schools in this district the pupils are classed in a shed. The unfortunate little ones are left to their Madam under a leafless tree by the church turned classroom.

The community is dire need of government’s support since they are peasant and already contributing money to feed the children.
